Selling a 1953 Marlin Model 90 16 gauge over/under shotgun I bought here over a year ago. These are great, well made American shotguns, I just could not get used to the double triggers after shooting semi-autos for the last decade. The gun is in very nice condition with 28" barrels (choked Full & Mod) with double triggers. The lock-up is tight and to the right. The finish and checkering are nice and the bores are excellent. It has had a red Marlin recoil pad that was very well installed at some point in its history. The only flaw is a faint "G" that was scratched into the bottom of the forearm back toward the receiver (so you hardly notice it). I can email additional pictures for those who are interested.

I've got one in 12 gauge that I have a hard time getting back every time I loan it out.

I shoot sporting clays with a different gun and it takes a little while to get used to the double triggers when I go back to the Marlin, but I actually prefer it for hunting. Instant choice of chokes without switching a button.
