#1 - Master Mag CC779, a Mossberg 479 made as a house brand rifle for Coast-To-Coast Hardware. I have replaced the original birch stock and forearm with Mossberg walnut.

#2 - Mossberg 472 PCA.

Both rifles are in very good condition.

#1 ships to your dealer in the contiguous 48, except for California, for $305.

#2 ships to your dealer in the contiguous 48, except for California, for $380.

Do these have that lever on the left side of receiver? Always wondered what that was for.

The 472 does, it is the safety.

Do you have pictures of the 479 and is it drilled and tapped for scope mounts?
Pictures, no.

Factory d&t, yes, and both rifles have a one-piece Weaver base installed.

These rifles were made in the 1970s and look very similar to the Marlin 336 series. If you "google" Mossberg 479 and select images, there are dozens of pictures of them.

Both of these rifles have pistol grip stocks. The major functional difference between the Marlin 336 and the Mossberg 472/479 is that the trigger travels with the lever, like a BLR, on the Mossberg rifles.
How is the bluing and the wood? Tough to decide without pictures.
The 472 is excellent in all respects.

The bluing on the 479 is faded to blue-gray, not worn or rusted or pitted, just faded. The wood is an excellent set of replacement walnut from a Mossberg branded rifle. I bought these rifles planning to give them to the twin sons of my MIL's ranch manager, 'cause they told me that they wanted lever action saddle guns. After I'd bought the two Mossbergs, they decided that bolt action 243s would be better suited to shooting coyotes and deer where they live, so I gave them Marlin XS7s in place of the Mossbergs.

I don't do pictures 'cause I'm technically challenged, not because I'm trying to hide anything. I offer a 3-day, non-shooting, inspection and if you decided that the rifle isn't what you expected, I'll refund 100% of the purchase price and pay for the return shipping/insurance if it is returned in the same condition that it was shipped.

My kids aren't interested in shooting sports, so without anyone to leave my accumulation of firearms to, I'm starting to sell them off. If they don't sell on 24HCF for what I have into them, they'll go to GB at a higher price.
They'd be comfortable next to a palamino 22.
Does the Coast 2 Coast rifle say Coast 2 Coast on it! If so would you consider an offer of 285? I can't pm you cuz it's full? If so I will take it! Thanks John
This is roll stamped on the barrel:

"MASTER MAG" "MODEL CC779 CAL. 30-30 WIN"
"MADE IN USA" "COAST TO COAST STORES"

Prices are firm as posted. I priced them for what I have in them, plus $30 to cover the shipping and insurance.
Ok I will take the Coast 2 Coast 4 305! ( at the most) thanks John
OK, #1 is SPF for $305 shipped/insured to Angus1895.

PS - If you don't think that $305 is a fair price, you have until I deposit your payment to change your mind.
