FS Marlin 1894 .44 magnum. Barrel is 16.25" Manufactured 1979. I believe this rifle started life as a 20" barreled gun and someone had the barrel shortened to "trapper" length. It looks like it is factory made, but I can't find where marlin made any non ported, trapper length 1894s in 1979. Anyway, it's a great trapper length .44 mag without the annoying ports. It has the micro grove barrel and the bore is bright and shiny and the crown and chamber are excellent. I haven't shot this gun ,but I have run some factory ammo through the action and it feeds and ejects smoothly. The metal is a solid 95+ with just a few light marks. The stock has a few handling marks, but no cracks or deep gouges. (see pics) This will make someone a great truck gun. I consider this a shooter grade gun, not a collector since I believe it has been altered from the factory configuration. If in fact it is a factory gun then I'm way under-priced, but I don't think that's the case.

Price is $675 + a flat $35 shipped to your FFL in the lower 48. Alaska and Hawaii pay actual shipping. Please make sure your FFL will accept a shipment from an individual. If the gun has to ship from an FFL, add $35 to the total.

Offers are always welcome, but the first I'll take it, gets it.

Thanks

Cool gun..... I'm really surprised somebody hasn't snatched it up.

Btw... you can get a brand new bullseye from Midway for $2.99!
For some reason there are a number of home-style gunsmiths that thought the bullseye was where you were supposed to drill the hole to put the rifle stud!

Monday bump.
bump for the evening crowd
Joined the site just to inquire about this nice rifle.
Still tempted, weagle, for something I have no need of, just because it's so attractive.
One more bump before it's off to Gunbroker. I'll pay the shipping to the lower 48, so $675 shipped.
I'm pretty sure it will go a good bit higher over on the auction site.
If this is still available pm me
