1959 Model. Who was born in 1959? It's calling you. It even has 306 as the last three digits in the serial. Close enough to 30-06 for government work. Too bad it wasn't 308 to match the bore.

The DD'S are the way I'd roll too. That's a great set-up for a classic rifle, such as this one..
