Do you want a "hvy 17 Remington Fireball" or a "hvy" 17 Remington?
I have one of the VERY few factory heavy barrel Remington 700's in 17 Remington ever made (Model named 700 VSS) - I like this rare Rifle so much I have been looking for another one ever since I bought this one back in early 2,002!
No luck to date.
There were a few more Remington 700 LVSF's made in 17 Remington but again they are seldom seen on the market.
One of my all time favorite factory Rifles is a Remington 700 VSF in caliber 17 Remington Fireball - this Rifle is just a blast to shoot and is a true "tack-driver".
Let me know what model and caliber you would prefer and I will help search for you.
Another favorite Remington 17 of mine is a Remington 700 Classic in 17 Remington - it has a "medium" weight 24" barrel and is also pleasingly accurate.
According to my 2,017 Remington catalog they are no longer producing Rifles in 17 caliber?
