I have a 1640 barreled action with floor metal for sale. It originally was a 4100 lightweight and is in 3006. The bluing is around 90% and the rifle was built in 1958. It comes with a Redfield 1 pc base and Burris med. rings. I bought this rifle for a project I was going to do, but after getting I found that the front lug in the stock was cracked, so I've never fired it.
I do have a stock that fits it from a 1958 4100 that was marketed in Europe so the barrel channel is bigger, but everything else fits great. The flaw in this stock a 1" piece is broken out at the toe, but if a 1" recoil pad was installed it would disappear.

Barreled action and floor metal $425 plus shipping

With the stock $525 plus shipping

thanks

Up for the evening bunch.
The bore in this one looks good to my eyes. Nice and shiney, plus I cleaned it and got all the copper and carbon out that Wipe Out and KG 1 would get.
The piece missing out of the toe is only 3 /4" counting the butt plate width.
Lets try again.
Price drop on a great small ring 98 Mauser..................

Barreled action with floor metal........$375 plus $35 shipping
With shown stock.............................$475 plus $35 shipping

Let's take another look at this one.
Is there no interest in this one?? Kind of surprising.
One of the better 98 actions.
Back up again.

needs better close up photos of both sides of the action.

OK. I can do that tomorrow. I'm curious what you are looking for.

If you click on the photo's it will allow you to go to the photo site and enlarge them. Tomorrow I will try and get close up photo's although my camera is not that good.

This is a pretty nice barreled action.
Jim , how many pictures have you taken on that stump. Hasbeen
A bunch, but the poor thing is starting come apart. Sad, it's a good easy prop.
Let's give this one more look before it goes back in the safe.
I have a rifle built by Iver Henriksen on one of these actions. Beautiful rifle. Slick action.
One last time.

X3!
I will try to get a pic of it on here
Nice rifle. I've owned several of them over the years. Most had a 1:12 twist as opposed to the standard 1:10.

How long is the barrel?

Okie John
The barrel is 21".

Iver Henriksen 1640
WOW!! Now that is super nice Hanco. What are the specs on that?
I really like the checkering pattern on the forearm
It’s a 25-06. 22” barrel. I have no idea what kind of wood that is. It looks a lot like an Al Biesen stock. I sold this rifle to DesertMuleDeer. He was nice enough to sell it back to me a couple of months ago. I refinished the stock last week. It turned out ok.
Nice Husqvarna! Those pics can't hurt a potential sale.
Very nice stock work. Did the bed it along with pinning it? Whose barrel is it and did they maintain the 1640 contour?
Not bedded, but wood confirms perfectly to action inside and out. No barrel markings, probably a Buhmiller barrel. Henriksen was known to favor them. Henriksen is one if the few Al Biesen praised. He did a lot of work for Elmer Keith.
I really admire his work. He is obviously a craftsman. You can be proud of that rifle.

Have you ever weighted it?
Haven’t weighed it.
Is this still available?
Yes it is.
I thought there would be more interest, but the market must be down.
Market very soft now.

If it had a longer barrel I would buy it. I hate the muzzle blast from a 21" barrel.
That's a beauty Hanco. I happened into a Iver Henriksen 338-06 on a Commercial Mauser action. It was crafted meticulously.
Can you post a picture of it?
