I have 2 of these and 1 needs a new home. Savage 1899B .303 sav all matching. It has some wear on the metal edges and would rate the wood good but very clean for a rifle over 100 years old. I think Angus has a gun magnet taped to his butt.

I have zero doubts you'll like that rifle. Those .303s have a certain stigma about them. They're pathetic from a ballistic standpoint, but bonerific from a realistic standpoint.
