These knives have factory blades from Dexter USA in Mass. 440 variant,my guess on Rc is 57 or around there . I'd say as good as a Case or Buck pocket knife on hardness. This stock ,these cut nice, take an edge easily and hold it decent. Stabilized maple handles,nickel pins
