Trying to answer some question that have come up.

The first 4 #s of the serial #. 4218xx

The Stock has some nicks and dents and stains in it. The checkering is worn. The bluing is wearing, mostly on the floorplate. Metal has some scratches. Still functions well. About the best it will do is 1.5" groups.

That description is helpful but I'd sure like to see a couple pictures.

Nice rifle, fairly priced can't understand why it's still here. I bought one this fall otherwise I'd be all over it.

Blame Christmas. December is a tough month to sell firearms. There are some great/killer deals in the classifieds right now on rifles and scopes.

They hold up well. I bought mine in 1986 with a 2.5x8 B&L scope, though the gun was built in 1957. 30-06.
