The Walmart Special turned into the Model #1149, it has a checkered birch stock with 22" stainless barrel. Ruger makes several models with that checkered birch stock. They also make their model #1102 with a true walnut stock that has the identical shape and checkering pattern as the birch sporter models but it has an 18 1/2" blued barrel and receiver.
Sorry to butt in on your ad but those identical looking stocks have caused a lot of confusion.
