Here's a steal i found recently while looking for bolt fluting service for my Weatherby Vanguard. They'll do Remingtons as well as Vanguard's, Howas, Tikas, Sakos, and Winchester push feed.
Just go to the link below and add to cart. Regular price is $65.00, but when you get to checkout, use the discount code NEW HAAS and it will discount the price down to $25.00.

+2

I had 3 Remington bolts done by Long Rifles Inc with their Wrought Iron fluting. Used the "new haas" code and paid $25 each. They did a nice job, fast, great communication. Awesome deal!

What's an average price for Bolt Fluting?

I've only come across a couple of rifles with it done
but is it possible to "Jewel" one or is the surface area
to small due to the twisting?
Posted By: JAT Re: Bolt Fluting guy - 03/09/18
Regular price is $65.
2 of my Remington bolts were factory jeweled but it was wearing off in places and I decided to have them fluted. The third was parkerized and the fluting gave it some charater! The 2 jeweled bolts turned out pretty cool looking with jeweling on the ridges with the wrought pattern. They would probably jewel the whole bolt after fluting but it would cost a bit more.

JAT, so that's the Long Rifles Inc referenced above?
Posted By: JAT Re: Bolt Fluting guy - 03/09/18
Yes...The regular price of $65 and wrought iron bolt fluting was done by LRI. I'm speculating that they would jewel the entire bolt after fluting...I don't know if there's a particular reason why it's not possible. I'll take a few pictures and post LRI's work shortly...

This is what LRI did for me...@ $25 per bolt with current coupon code ... I'm Happy with the results!

Nice work. I see what you were saying about the jeweling still
showing on the flat edge of the flute.

I took advantage of the NEW HAAS promotion shipped a pair of bolts to LRI on March 2nd, they confirmed receipt on the 7th and they were headed back my direction on the 8th. Awesome communication and awesome turnaround time!

Scott Weichel Wylie Tx But I would have him bush it as well, no point spending cash on looks over performance.
