Here i have another item that i collected years ago. Tis is a 1st design Benjamin Air Rifle model 317 that was manufactured from 1934-1940. The first design is a push plunger under the barrel. This has on the left side of the receiver " Benjamin Franklin" That was how they scammed people 8 decades ago ! It is a Bejamin 317 as per the Brass behind the bolt states. . It can be pumped up to 10 times. The coloring on the barrel is mostly worn off. The barrel exterior and some other parts are made of brass. This pumps up. Shoots a 177 pellet as it fit perfectly and i tried it out. I am not 100 percent sure how to use it, When pushing down the 2' slide plunger to build up the pressure it does just that. It will push down to about 8" of seating. I did get a couple of pumps ito it to shoot it, it has some power with just 2 pumps. It seems like i am not doing something correctly . The plunger does build up sme wicked pressure but seems tough to seat to the bottom. This shoots perfectly. Reblack or blue it, polish it up to shine and ruin the patina in the works or just use it. Built better than todays crap! This is somewhere in the 78-84 years of age. I have it currently on Gunbroker for a starting bid of $149.00. If anyone is interested here on this site i will sell at $150 plus shipping. Within 2 hours of joing you all i sold 2 Ramline folding stocks ! Thanks! Buyer will pay Priority Mail shipping. Buyer will pay actual shipping. It wont fit in the large Priority flat rate box. If interested drop me a message with your zip code for shipping. I have 4 pictures on Gunbroker.
