Not sure on when they were produced, I believe it was mid 2000's.

Probably not very many. They were not listed in the catalog in 7mm-08 & .308.

Stopped production in 2006

I've got one in 243. IMO, one of the best rifles Remington ever made. I've no desire for a 7-08, but if it was in another chambering, I might be.

The $400 might cover the cost of the fluted barrel, chamber/install, not so much.
