This has less than 2 boxes down the barrel. This has the tang safety and the trigger is adjusted to be pretty light, I guess 2 pounds. Minor safe marks shown in pictures. Comes with factory rings, and 4-16 dot Weaver scope would be another 150 if bought with the rifle. 750.00 plus 25 shipping for rifle w/o scope. Can be picked up in Centre county PA.

Looks like the heavy-barreled varmint model?
Does it have the 26" bull barrel?
Yes it is the 26" bull barrel.
Nice rifle!
+2 on a nice rifle.
I wish we still had woodchucks around. My old one was devastating on chucks with Norma Match Hollow Points.
Bump
Awesome rifle always wanted one .The tang safety Rugers are my favorite ones .These are usually super accurate too .
Had one just like it.

Most accurate rifle I ever shot.
Yep, mine loves 55 grain ballistic tips. Won't ever sell that one. But the OP has this one priced very well.
About as nice as they come.
Agreed! Mine is the flatbolt, the first release of the “V” varmint in 220 Swift and its lights out!

My brother had a Ruger 77V in 220 Swift which like yours was scary accurate. I recall the powder was IMR-4320 with a 52 gr Sierra
If i didn't still have the one i bought new in 73 i'd be right on it !!!!! grin 52 grain sierra hollow point boat tail match i could keep them in a nickel at 200 yds !!!! they are a great rifle and its a good buy on a super varmit rifle. Don

Yes.
Sure did. 22" and they're a joy to carry.
Any trades you might consider ?
thanks

Has the pad been replaced? I hav always seen them with the red pad
Bump for a nice rifle - had one of these back in my teenage years (first centerfire I ever owned!)
BTW - the Ruger sporter Swifts all had 24” barrels. I’ve never experienced a Swift that was inaccurate.
Good luck with your sale......Very tempting.
That is a factory pad. The 1991 year of tang safety production included a mix of black and red pads. The black pad continued till end of production in 1992.

This is the original pad and it is not mushy.
Sorry no trades the money is going to the vet bill for a broken puppy leg. Titanium brace + 4 screws was 4400. Lab puppy was 200 at Christmas, but a premium dog now.
Sunday bump
