Went backpacking in bear country last week. As I was packing, was bringing a rifle as bear season is open and the berries are ripe. But this is too nice a rifle to strap onto my backpack. Ended up taking an old 30-30 truck gun instead

It's hard to read the barrel stamp but I think it reads XTR = Top eject.
