I hate to do this, but funds are needed elsewhere, so some things gotta go!

This is a gorgeous Winchester 9422M in .22WMR. wood is nicely figured, checkering is sharp, and the bluing is deep and even. The prior owner did use this from time to time, so it does have some tiny handling marks, but I’d rate it at 98%. Action is buttery smooth, and the trigger has a crisp break. No box or papers, just the rifle in a soft padded rifle case.

Looking for $850 FTF in the east Phoenix, AZ area, or $875 shipped if your FFL accepts from an individual. If I need to ship from my dealer, add $40 to the price. No trades at this time please, I need to bring in some funds. Any questions, just ask. Thanks!

Way above average and a bargain at that price!

Dennis.
I had an old one for 20-25 years. Was carried in every truck and tractor I owned. Was a fine shooting little rifle. Mine was nowhere as nice as yours..good luck!

Bump for a beautiful rifle at a very attractive price. I've seen these sell at well over $1,000 at gunshows.

-Other Mannlicher/full-stock rifles considered (6.5x55 or 7x57 especially)

I MAY consider other items, but when offering your trade, please don’t try to upsell your item above what I can get it for brand new. grin

Also, I don’t really want to sell this, but need some funds, so while I’ll listen to offers, they’ll have to be more tempting to me than keeping this rifle. Cash in this case is 110% king. Thanks!

Bump for a beauty! Good thing I don’t live in Phoenix. I’m using the shipping and transfer fees to resist. It’s been hard! Someone please buy this and save my bank account!

I’ll give this until Sunday evening before I pull it, and honestly, maybe not even that long. I took it out this morning and had an absolute blast! The irons aren’t the most precise aiming tools out there, but at 50y I was able to manage about 2” groups off a bench (front rest, but no rear bag). I never did sight it in, so with 30gr HV stuff it was about 2” high, but with some CCI 40gr JSP it was only about 0.5” low at 50y, and was just under 2”. Using something like a Leupold 3-9x EFR would shrink that right down, I’m sure. Or maybe a tang sight (not sure I want to D&T it though)... Hmmm...

After sighting in my .308 and an AR, it was downright a joy to shoot! I’d forgotten how much fun this thing is!

So, if no solid buyer steps forward or I’m unable to strike a deal to my liking before tomorrow evening (or sooner!), I’ll find something else to sell to raise the funds I need. This thing really is buttery smooth and a hoot to shoot!

Me thinks the 22 mag is perhaps the ultimate weapon for survival!

U got a beautiful one in the photos!

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. For the time being, this is withdrawn. I’ll be posting a few other items up in the next while, but for now, this one’s back in the safe.
