I have for sale a pre 64 model 70 action serial #1779** that a gun building fanatic was building to go on an african safari with until he recently passed away,this rifle is chambered in 458 win mag with a brand new stainless steel bull barrel qith the breech diameter is 1.175 and the muzzel is .863 and the barrel length is 25" and it has a very nice trigger in it but i have no idea what trigger is in the rifle and there is no extractor in the bolt but i believe this is all there is left to make this a shootable rifle and it alread has leupold bases and rings mounted.the cost is $1200 plus shipping.pics upon request to serious inquirees.
