I paid more than twice as much for a Weatherby in 257mag that is pretty much a twin to the 25-06. The Weatherby is too nice for me to hunt with. Buy the Remington in 25-06 and go hunt.

Lots of rifle for the money. Love the early 700's. I have the same one in a Varmint Special.

Ive got one in a sendero. Killed lots of deers. This one is sure prettier!
