Home
I have a shooter grade 1951 model year Marlin 39A that I would like to sell.
I bought the rifle in extremly bad condition, it had no wood or metal finish.
I have replaced the inner and outer magazine tube, replaced the rear sight ,butt plate and white line spacer and grip cap.
The front sight hood is not correct for that year though.
Bleached and refinished the stock and forearm and shot 2 coats of high gloss clear cerakote.
The barrel is not a Micro-Groove barrel as they went to that in the mid 50's I belive but the barrel looks very good and the rifling is still crisp.
There was/is some pitting on the receiver .
All the metal was shot in the new Cerakote Elite Midnight and looks very good.
With the time and materials I have in this I am wanting $425.00 FTF + 20.00 shipping for it.
I have several pictures besides the couple I have posted I can text or email.
Thanks
