Remington 700 BDL Varmint Special in .22-250 Rem with 24" heavy barrel. This was made in 1971 by the date code. The wood has several light indentions and one "bad" spot on the left side near the receiver. No cracks or deep scratches. Overall I would consider the wood to be 85-90%. The bluing is very nice overall with only some light scratches/wear. There is one rough spot at the back of the receiver that looks to have come from whatever hit the stock on that same side. Both areas are pictured and these are by far the worst areas. Overall I would consider the bluing to be 90%++. The bore is nice and the bolt jeweling/bolt face are nice.
