Up for sale is one of my fav’s bit it’s time to move in a different direction.

M70 XTR, 7x57 featherweight, trigger work and red decelerator put on by Redneck. It has a few marks in the stock but no scratches. Also has a small scratch in the blueing on on the barrel. I tried to capture all in the photos.

I got the exact same rifle. Out of all the hunting bolt guns that I have used specifically for deer, this rifle tops the list. The Winchester M70 FWT rifles made during this era were excellent. The 7x57 is an outstanding round for this platform.

I have killed deer with this rifle while hunting with two members of this forum, and on separate hunts. Both times were successful for me and both were bang flops over 200 yards. I highly recommend this rifle!

I have been looking for a 7x57 for several months and just bought a ruger. Wish I had waited a few days. Has this been an accurate rifle? I still have a scope that i need to put a rifle under.

It’s been pretty accurate. With factory ammo it likes Winchester 145gr and Federal blue box 140’s
I can get 7/8” groups with Nosler ballistic tip 120’s

260 Remguy is 100% correct and this is experience talking. I sold mine in January 2018 to a close friend who wanted a 7x57. He shot it maybe 2 dozen times and commented what a great shooting rifle it was, which I already knew. About the middle of December 2018 I was talking to him and he said he was going to move a few guns and asked if I wanted it back. With absolutely no hesitation I said YES! It is now where it belongs and is going to stay! Good luck.
