As you would imagine, these rifles are really common here in Sweden.
A common change is to simply re-chamber in 9.3 x 62 for a very powerful, light rifle.
Somebody should give this rifle a good home!

I checked out the condition of the bore, it is really a lot better than I was expecting. Not excellent, but very shiny with well defined rifling. This gun must not have seen any corrosive 8mm in its day. I wish I hadn’t looked at the bore now, I’m starting to consider keeping it. The 8x57 is an underrated cartridge in my opinion, at least to us Americans it is. I’ve got a Sako 8x57 and I really enjoy it a lot. Starting to use it more than my old, trusty 30-06(gasp!). Someone needs to buy this thing before I decide to hang onto it. I don’t need my wife mad at me, I already spent some money on other toys!
