I bought this rifle brand new from a gun shop here in my town. I am very careful with my rifles and this one is like new. I cannot find a mark on it. I has a 20" blued barrel that came from Tikka with a threaded muzzle that has a cap on it. I bought this for its accuracy, but I don't like to hunt with rifle that has a 10-round magazine hanging down under it. So I bought a brand new Tikka T3x Lite take-off stock, sanded the barrel channel a little to free-float the barrel and then put my CTR barreled action it it. It fit right in because the CTR uses the same receiver as all other Tikkas. These T3x Lite stocks have a lot of nice improvements over the T3 Lite stocks. The only thing I had to do is order a $13.00 magazine retaining clip from Brownell's that T3's have and CTR's don't because they use different magazines. Adding the clip allows you to use 3 and 5 round regular Tikka magazines. My 3-round magazine comes with it. I did sight this rifle in, or course, and I've taken it deer hunting in good weather a couple of times. I doubt it has a box of factory ammo through it. I can attest to its accuracy from sighting it in, and also from flaaaattening a big Whitetail doe at a lasered 366 yards opening weekend last fall. That was fun!

As shown in the pictures it has a Limbsaver Air-Tech recoil pad on it. I have the factory recoil pad and will put it back on if you don't want the Limbsaver.

It also has a black, medium height Ded Nutz Game Reaper 1-piece scope mount, which is all I have ever used for years. The scope you see is a Redfield Revolution 4-12x40mm scope I bought new for this rifle. I really like it. I will take the scope and mount off if you don't want it.

So as it sits this rifle is sighted in and ready to hunt with.

I want $750.00 for the bare rifle including shipping and insurance to any 48 lower 48 states FFL who accepts long guns from private individuals. Add $25.00 for the Limbsaver recoil pad, $35.00 for the Game Reaper scope mount, and $165.00 for the Redfield scope if you want to buy any of those along with this rifle. I will sell these items separately, but not until the rifle is spoken for. So $975.00 gets the whole package including insured shipping, all sighted in and ready for the hunt. Or buy this proven shooter in new condition for $750.00, your choice. My prices seem very fair so I am firm on them.

JJ, could you provide a link to that magazine retaining clip please? Thanks....nice rifle....I have one and a spare stock or I'd be after this one. Thanks.
Hi JGRaider,

Send the attached picture to Brownells and they should be able to order it for you. They made me buy 2, but I had another guy that wanted one at the time.

The little piece circled on the picture is a magazine retention clip that simply bolts onto the front of the trigger. There is a bolt there you unscrew, put the clip on and run the bolt back in. Done!
