I picked this up a couple of years ago. I was looking for a 7mm Wby, couldn’t find what I was looking for, and got impatient and bought this 7mm STW that I stumbled upon. Of course, just a few weeks later I found a 7mm Wby that was perfect, so I bought it too. I focused on the Wby and prefer it, so this STW must go.

I purchased this used, so have no idea of round count. I emailed Brown Precision for info about the rifle, but unfortunately they don’t keep track of their rifles sold by serial number, so they couldn’t tell me anything about the rifle’s origin, barrel type, etc.. From the website description, it looks like it might be a High Country model, but I can’t guarantee that.

It looks like the rifle was carried a good bit, but not fired much. There is carry wear around the muzzlebrake, some light scratches in the Teflon on the barrel, and carry wear on the stock. But, no scrapes, gouges, or dents. The rifle came with the muzzlebrake when I purchased it, and I had a local gunsmith fashion a thread protector.

I played with the rifle a bit and tried only a few different bullets (150gr Partitions, 145 gr Speers). I shot right at 100 rounds through it and averaged 1.00-1.25” at 100 yds, but have to believe this rifle would do better with further development.

$1300 shipped to your FFL in lower 48, payable in USPS Money Orders. Your FFL must be able to accept shipments from an individual. Or, $1200 (cash) if face-to-face in Dallas area. No trades. I don't have much additional information, but if you have any questions, PM me here or email kburke31 at hotmail.com.
