Parting with one of my grail guns.
The gun functions as it should. Lockup is safe. Index’s well. Ejection is strong. Latch is reasonably tight for its age, though not “bank vault”.
Gun wears period genuine ivory stocks with a sizeable chip missing from one side. It is definitely repairable.
8” barrel which is quite rare. Most were shorter.
Gun is a later model with the caliber stamped on the barrel. Again, pretty rare as most were not marked as to caliber. Gun is .44 Russian.
Gun is a re-nickel.
It is one huge, shiny chunk of frontier era iron. Very imposing and a joy to handle.
I’m looking for 2500 plus the ride. Can email pics or if someone could help I’d be much obliged.
