Got my 9 yr old grandson a Rem model 700 in 243 for coming deer season. It is a tad long for him. It has a like new stock on it and I hate to cut it.
Not up on all variations of the 700 but this one does not have a floor plate, and you can work the bolt with the safety on.

If you have an appropriate stock that will fit and has been cut, I would be interested in it. If you have a beater stock that would not be a great loss if cut, I would be interested in it.

Is the current stock a youth stock? It’s called an ADL without a floor plate.

I have an original Remington youth stock for an ADL that was on a rifle my son shot when he was young. It's composite, not wood. Has a few minor handling marks, but nothing of note. I'd take $50 for it, plus shipping.
