I hate to part with this, but I just don't shoot it. With another rifle in the works, it's going down the road.

Borden Timberline action
Bartlein 2b 1:9 stainless barrel finished at 24"
Triggertech trigger set at 3lbs
Brown Pounder Stock with Kevlar/Graphite ADL/no floorplate
14" LOP
Rifle weighs 6lbs 15.7oz
Borden aluminum 20MOA rail
Also includes 2 sets of Talley lightweight 30mm rings. Low and Med
Round count is 141

I sent the bartlein barrel to Jim Borden where he did the metal work and chambered the rifle(280AI).

Sent the barreled action to Mark Brown for the pounder stock. They did all the stock work including bedding.

Eddie Fosnaugh did the graphite black cerakote and smoothed out the feeding. It feeds nice.

Didn't do a whole lot of load development, 145 LRX shoots right at 1/4 inch at 3150fps.

Asking $3500, no trades please. First I'll take it in this thread gets it.

Rifle is only listed here on the campfire.

Thanks for looking,

Trey

This rifle sounds like a dream come true.

Incredible rifle
I bought this same rig from Kenai King several years ago. Mine weighs the same as yours. You would be quite surprised at how close the serial number is to yours. Mine was cobbled by Kampfeld & boy, does it shoot.

Good luck with your sale. That’s a $5000 build.
Thanks guys, it's a really great rifle.

Reloader, you're damn close on what it cost to put it together. I'd like to see a pic of your rifle.

I love the rifle, but I always pick up my NULA when I walk out the door to hunt.

Somebody needs to have this rifle that will hunt it and shoot it.

Oh my goodness - that's really nice.
Wow, that's what a rifle should be! Sheep hunters dream rifle.
Trey-

Just curious. What NULA do you pick up and shoot? This rifle is along the NULA lines with the light weight, accuracy, etc? I'm a big NULA fan but this thing looks like the real deal!

Razorhog
Razor,

It's a Model 20 .284win with a #1 Douglas barrel at 22 inches. It's light, handy, and accurate. An absolute pleasure to hunt with.

I won't ever part with it.

This Borden is a different animal. It's the nicest rifle I've ever owned, but not as nimble as a NULA model 20.

Hope this answers your question.

Trey
It does. Thanks! My 7mm08 model 20 sounds like yours. Mine won't leave here.

Roll this to the top!
One more bump.

Maybe I am a little high so if anyone has a real interest, make me a reasonable offer.
