Late 1990s Howa 1500 stainless 270. This one is in one of the later Howa Lightning stocks which are the Hogue stocks without the tacky rubbery feeling. I relieved a little of the barrel channel to get a good free float. I replaced the trigger with a newer two stage that breaks clean at about 2.5lb. It has Warne scope bases and Burris Zee rings. It is a 1” shooter with about any factory ammo. Never bothered to load for it. It is in excellent shape. Just a nice solid all weather 270 that is a proven shooter. This one is old enough to have the metal magazine follower and floor plate.
