I’ve decided to list this absolutely beautiful Winchester “G” Series Classic 7x57 XTR (push feed). I’d rate this rifle at 98%+. It does have one little safe bump, but the metal is flawless. The wood is superb, and jewelling is shiny. You would be hard pressed to find another one in this condition, with the same wood grain. I’m asking $775 + $15 shipping for this rifle to your FFL. I’ll be posting a few more photos in the sunlight later this afternoon.

There is going to be some collector interest in this rifle. It is a non-Olin rifle. I suspect it will be gone today.

Got same rifle. Killed some nice bucks with it. It’s the best of the M70s after 1963. Top quality, excellent rifle here.

I knew it would be history today. At that price, it should have sold on Friday.
Never a prettier rifle ever made than a Winchester 70 FTWT!

Simply a thing of beauty!
That’s a pretty one!
Feeling like I gave it away, maybe I missed something?

You didn’t give it away.

It is a little special because it’s pre Olin. More importantly, it’s a top quality, bad a$$ gun. I have been around rifles all of my adult life. For a working man rifle, those early to mid 80s XTRs are top of the heap IMO. They puke quality.

RAS,

I think what you meant to say the rifle is "Pre- USRAC" or a Olin made Winchester before U.S. Repearting Arms Corp took over.
