This is tough one to let go. I just have too many irons in the fire and am downsizing on projects.

Up for your consideration is a nice pre 64 m70 in 308win. featherweight.
I believe it to be a 1955 production.

I just find myself with a preference of the Classic M70’s.

$975 Plus shipping.

I’ll be glad to provide further pictures of anything that you would like to see.
Beautiful rifle. I used to have one just like it. GLWYS, but I hope you don’t regret selling later.

Nice rifle, I have one I’ll never sell. It’s kind of an heirloom now. Good luck with your sale,

Thanks fellas.
Here’s a few more photos.

Pics 308-02

It’s a working/user rifle.
I’m having a tough time capturing the actual condition. Some photos are making appear more pristine than it is, and others are making it look much rougher.

I’ll keep at it.

I’ve had a few PMs regarding trades. I’m ok with trading. Top priority is good old fashioned cash smile. I’m looking to upgrade my Optics, so scopes, binos, and spotters are of interest. McMillan stocks with edge fill for post 64 win m70’s. I have a few classics, so color and configuration is flexible. Glock G5 mos with Optics and lastly Classic M70’s.

Hope this helps with the PM’s. Lots of flexibility in the specifics of the items listed.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving everybody!

Black Friday Morning

I give you guys who post these fantastic pictures a lot of credit. Definitely a talent that you’ve been blessed with.

Here are a few more pictures, hopefully in better light?
I’ve tried to cover all of the little details that I’ve been asked about.
I think these give good representation of the rifle

Soo how does she shoot? Opine on bore condition?

Thanks.

I’ve never fired it. Bore looks fine to me, no issues noted.

Bought as a project, was going to have it bedded into a hunters edge. Just haven’t got to it.
Any idea what pieces are original to the rifle as it is?

Are the wood and bluing original finish? Ted

I believe everything to be original.

I hope I’m in this good of condition when I’m 64. wink
