FS: Marlin 39A $525 shipped

Marlin 39A 1946 (c prefix 2nd year w/ blued receiver and after the war ), good shape for its age. Has a period appropriate Lyman peep and front globe sight, I believe its a model 56 variation. Top knob turns, looks like micro elevation adjustments, has some screws buggered. Good bluing on the receiver, some wear on the barrel and mag tube. A decent chip missing on the butt stock where it meets the receiver. Aside from that its in great shape for its age. Bore looks good. Shoots good, I was easily able to hit a 4" steel plate at 100 yards if I did my part. Bolt looks good to go for high velocity ammo. Breaks down easy, and is a ton of fun to shoot!
