Winchester Model 88, Pre'64, Rifle model (not carbine). Chambered in .243 Win. Rifle is in very good condition with a bright, strong bore and stock free from cracks. It has the usual handling, slight wear on stock and blue but in overall good condition. Plastic butt plate was professionally replaced with a Pachmayr 1" Decelerator pad, stock is 13.5" LOP. Front sight was removed (they are only soldered on) an cold blued. Rear sight removed and dovetail slot filled with dovetail filler. Weaver scope base. Stock shortened?

To get the LOP, on that rifle, with a 1" pad, I believe it would have to be.

Yes, the stock was cut but with the installation of the pad it's at the original LOP. It was professionally done buy a full time 'smith.
