Remington Mod 7
300 SAUM
Kuiu Dip Synthetic factory stock
Bolt fluted
Unknown round count
$550 shipped
Is this a factory rifle, action, barrel ? I like the dip camo. I have a bolt action pistol in the 300 SAUM and it is a hammer. Love the round. Easy to load and not real picky on bullets
if I stay in the 150grn. range.
Mike
Looks like a factory LS or CDL barreled action in a factory tupperware M7 SS stock that was dipped.
Factory gun in synthetic stock. Don’t know who fluted the bolt.
Bump For You..... Almost Sure The Bolt Was Fluted At Twisted Barrel..
$500 shipped before I send it to GB
Do you have any idea who might have rechambered the rifle? Just wondering what caliber it was before the rechamber. Do you know who's barrel it is?
Mike
This is obviously a factory rifle with a factory chamber.
I couldn't find anything from Remington about the 300 SAUM. They do have a 300 RUM. I guess it could be custom.
That is why I asked. I have two 300 SAUM pistols, one bolt action and the other break action. I use this round more than most any
of my pistols. With a 150grn Accubond or Ballistic Tip it is very flat shooting and is a hammer on deer and pigs around here in
Oklahoma. The bolt pistol will be my go to gun if I go for elk again.

I had a Model 7 in 7 SAUM so guaranteed this is a factory rifle. It was a shooter and I kick myself a lot for letting that one go.
I'd say it's certainly a factory barreled action and a factory stock, but I don't recall the blued steel (Matte/CDL or Gloss/LS) barreled actions being available with the injection molded handle during the SAUM years of the early 2000's. That doesn't mean that I didn't miss something, but folks swap stocks all the time. I think my dad and I have 4-5 of those magnum M7 rifles, all of which wear various Remington factory stocks (CDL walnut, LS laminate, 673 laminate), none of which came originally on those individual rifles.
I have a M700 Ti in .300 SAUM, so Remington did have a variety of the SAUM options not that log ago...

To bad you can’t get any brass
You can get all of the brass you want. I get it in Remington, Norma and Hornady. My bolt action pistol shoots the Hornady the best for some reason.
Yes this is a factory gun & plenty of components available.
My Rem M7 300 SAUM is factory. Not rare or odd.
Was a very common factory chamber in the model Seven as well as the 673. Not hard to get brass. Ammo is out there.
Great round in a short action.

Very nice little rifle in a potent caliber. Looks factory to me except the bolt and stock color, which looks great. I had a mod 7 in 7mm saum and have seen them in 300 saum. Hard to believe this is still here at that price.
I love my Model 7 in 300 SAUM. Great rifle and caliber. Someone needs to give this rig a good home.
If you snoose ...you'll loose .., just that simple ,don't miss this Buy !!!, bump it UP!
$500 shipped for a great gun.
Still have this $500 shipped
Gentlemen, I can all but guarantee that this is a factory chambered gun. I owned one and at the time I liked the 300 WSM better so I rebarrelled mine, but it was a factory gun in 300 SAUM. Brass is plentiful too so there is no reason to derail the mans thread. This is a great price too.
Free bump for a bargain priced gun. GLWS

Where are you finding the Remington brass?
If i didnt currently own two this would be on the way to PA!! 150SST and DOA every time.. I have not yet found a better combo for whitetails and i have tested up and down the spectrum.
I’ve got plenty of Nosler brass in 300 Saum if anyone needs any. Bump for a sweet rifle
