Remington 700 CP 308 pistol

Selling my slightly used Remington 700 CP 308 pistol. Only put 20 rounds down it. I bought this a week before Christmas and finally got to the range. It is surprisingly accurate with factory ammo. 3/4” 5 shot group at 100yds. Shot and functioned great. Unfortunately, 308 in a pistol is not for me. So before it becomes my next safe queen, I’m selling it.

Comes with with factory paperwork and packaging and 10 round mag. I also purchased a 5 round mag and an m-lok QD sling mount that will come with it.

What scope did you use when you shot for groups?

I'm guessing that this is going to be one of those oddball Remington products that they will stop making. Probably will be worth 3x retail in a few years. I've got two of them.😁 GLWYS

I'll bet it would be a pussycat with some light pills over a load of Trail Boss. Did you try it with some of Remington's Managed Recoil ammo?

I had no problem with the recoil. I really just didn’t like it. Shooting light loads would defeat the purpose of shooting a 308. As far as recoil, an arm brace could be added.

Open to one trade. I’m willing to trade for an AR pistol upper. Would prefer a 223 Wylde chamber but would consider a 556/223 chamber. Not interested in any other calibers. The upper must be complete, 10” barrel give or take an inch, and with an M-lok Handguard. Don’t need a scope or red dot. Looking to do a straight up trade. I’m not willing to spend any extra. No cheap home built crap either.
