1978 version. I don't think the recoil pad is original and there's some flaking in the finish on the stock, but the gun overall is in really nice shape. I can keep 270gr Sierras under 1 1/2 @ 100. I would keep it but I really want a '68 to match my 30-30 and 35 Rem. The scope and rings stay with me but I'll leave the rail if you want it, or I can put the factory screws back in it. $700 to your FFL from me. More pictures available if you need them.

Nice!

Recoil pad appears to be a later Marlin vintage.

What's the length of pull? Thanks.

it looks to be right at 14" from butt to trigger.

I have an old box of Remington ammunition for the 444 as well, if anyone needs it to start out.

I have a 1973 model and love it! Shoots the 265gr Hornadys right at 1”. Wouldn’t thinking selling it. The old micro grooves just shoot! Good deal bump!

That's a fair price on a great gun. Somebody should grab this while they can.

Much more gun than the new ones! My 1980 is a tack driver , surprised me how accurate it is at 200 yards.
