If you're into accuracy in your rifles, you probably know of Bill Wiseman. Bill makes the testing barrels for the ammunition manufacturers, and is considered just about the best barrel maker there is.

For a short time, Wiseman offered his own complete rifle, called the Texas Safari Rifle. They have a deep belly synthetic stock, a drop-out magazine, and of course his own barrels.

Most were made in 300 WSM, but this one is a 270 WSM, a more useful and easier-shooting caliber IMHO. I've shot quite a number of sub-1/2" groups with this rifle with factory ammunition. I just bought a Blaser K-95, so I'm freeing up some funds to cover that. Scope not included, but bases and 30mm rings stay on the rifle.

In response to questions, the barrel length is 24", LOP is 13 3/4", and weight is about 7 1/2 lbs.
Back around for a great custom rifle.
That is the weight without a scope, right?
Fine rifle
Yes, bare rifle.
Someone said the stock looks like a Bell & Carlson. That may be true, as the original owner upgraded everything else on the rifle.
Offers before it goes back in the safe?
One more pass.
Still have it. How about $1,895?
