I'm listing this for an older gentleman that is very knowledgeable on firearms and a firearms trainer in McComb MS, Doug Bowser 601-341-8797. He does not text so you will have to speak to him on the phone with anymore questions or details about buying this rifle.

Ruger Model 77 V .220 Swift
Heavy 26” barrel, blue and bore are minty, small handling marks on the stock, has Ruger 1” high scope rings. Weight is 9 pounds, has factory LOP of 13.75”, trigger adjusted to 2.5 pounds. Purchased in 1974 and fired 20 times and has been in the safe since. This caliber has been discontinued 11 years ago. $850.00

He also has a Leupold AO 12x40mm Varmint Scope
A fixed power telescope designed for Varmint shooting. Gloss finish, excellent clear optics, one small scratch (1/16”) from scope ring, adjustable objective from 50 yards to Infinity, standard 1” tube, comes with lens covers. $300.00

Looks like a really nice rifle at a great price. It looks like it might be a flatbolt.
It is a flat bolt! First issued un-cataloged in 1973 with a run of 1,000 rifles.

All factory 220 Swift barrels are 1:14

I had one of those in swift and 22-250. Pure tact drivers. Those were a couple of my reckless sell offs that I wish I had never parted with. I don't need this one tempting me.

Somebody needs this.

I've got one. Most accurate rifle I've ever owned or seen. Talking high .1's to low .3's for 3 shots at 100 if I can do my part.

Ain't NO FREAKIN' WAY that I'd sell mine for what the OP's asking. NO WAY !!!!!!!

Bought a bicentennial model of this. Everything I shot thru it would cloverleaf . 204$ brand new in 1976
