Bought the rifle from a gentlemen who had put 20-40 rounds down the tube. He sent it into Remington for a reason I don’t know. It was not returned in time for his hunt so he went another direction. I immediately rebarreled to a custom barrel and never put a round through it. No marks. Like new condition.

Man, I have 3 remington mtn rifles. One just so happens to be a 30-06 but a blued model. Wonder how the stainless barrel would look on it
