Plain jane 1894 in 44 mag. Overall id rate it in very good-excellent condition.Wood has handling marks that should be clearly visble in the pictures. JM stamped. Got this for my son to hunt with but shortly after acquiring this one I found a P model that suits him better. I planned to keep this one for myself but last week I traded into a rare 1894 Octagon model so this is now redundant. Re: the closeup pic of the left side of the receiver, the blue finish on the lever appears to have significant wear. Is that a lighting issue or is there missing blue?

I just bought a 2003 model 1894 a few weeks ago. It feeds everything I've tried in it flawlessly. I put a set of Skinner Sights on mine but that Burris looks like a real nice set up. GLWYS.

How do you like that Burris Fast Fire 3? I've got a 44 mag Ruger I was kicking around the idea of putting one on.

Fastfire is the perfect match for the 1894 for the hunting here.
