That .257 is a beautiful rifle. I guess one must be of a certain age to appreciate blued steel and beautiful wood.

That's not true. I'm well under 65 and love a good gloss rifle with good wood. For the most part I despise all the plastic stocked bead blasted new guns. Older guns are a thing of beauty.

If I hadn't bought a wood-stocked 84M Rob earlier this year, I'd own this one.

I spent over 3 years looking for a good piece of wood before I bought mine. Sqweeler's is as good as the best few I've seen...
