Some time ago, I was ‘grazing’ at my favorite LGS. They had one on the rack in the ‘back room’. Shooter grade, been hunted hard...$450-$475, IIRC. I left without it. That rifle called to me and kept me half awake all night. I went back to get it the next day, but it was gone. You know what they say, right? “You snooze; you lose!”

The timber carbine can go for around 1K or more unfired or like new. One I bought on GB a few years ago was almost that if I recall. I sold a wood 20 inch barrel version unfired on GB last year and got close to $1500. Although that was more than I was expecting.
