I'm looking to buy an old Weaver V4.5 Scope for parts. It has the flat power adjustment ring where the whole eyepiece turns. What I specifically need is the sleeve that is under the eyepiece that slides back and forth when you turn the power adjustment ring. Mine has a crack on it, and when you get to 2.5 power, it catches and won't go any further. It has the numbers on it that you see on the ring. Please see photos and if you have one you would be willing to sell, send me a PM with info. I realize that removing the eyepiece means that you lose the nitrogen, but according to some, after 40 years, the nitrogen has probably escaped anyway. I know I can send it in for repair and I may end up doing just that, but I thought I would see if I could find parts.
