CHIEF SPECIAL 3”, 4 SCREW SIDEPLATE, ROUND BUTT
This Chief Special has been in my collection for a number of years. According to the accompanying factory letter 65967 was shipped in October 1955 to well know distributor Evaluators LTD. See letter info below. It is in great mechanical condition and locks-up very tightly. It shows some holster wear at the muzzle and the pictures illustrate the condition. I don’t think these 3”, 4 screw sideplate Chief Specials are rare but this is the only one I’ve seen. All numbers match including the walnut medallion, diamond magna grips that are in very good condition. $600 + $25 shipping insured, signature required.

It is in very good condition, and a fine shooting revolver that shows minor wear and no abuse. The back of the cylinder is unscathed. Pretty early gun with low 5 digit (13278) serial number. All matching serial numbers including grips $650 + $25 shipping insured, signature required.

Very Nice! Love the Old Smiths. Wish I had the foresight to purchase those classic DA revolvers when they were plentiful. Good luck on your sale. Nice pieces.
