Having that rifle made today by Jim Kobe would cost at least twice as much as is being asked.

Sir,

Yes, Jim Kobe did all of the work, wood and metal, on the rifle. Rifle weighs 8lb 12oz as shown. Strip off the scope and bases, should be right at 8lbs even for bare rifle.
