What happened to 9mm ammo?

I purchased a new 9mm Saturday in Utah and bought 100 rounds of 9mm for $23. They seemed to have plenty.

Even though I reload 9mm, I bought about 5k rds in early Mar while there was still some out there!

Maybe I am being too cheap. I was thinking I'd be able to find 9mm like I did back around Christmas for $8.00/50 at Cabelas. I'll stay the course and be patient.
