I decided to put one of my 30 mm scopes on my Grendel Hunter AR upper and had to get a new mount. This 1" Burris PEPR has one stripped cap screw hole on the front right side. All 11 of the others torque to spec just fine. It is very solid and has held zero through two hunting seasons with my son carrying it. It would be a good option for someone who doesn't want to spend $75 on a new one. $30 shipped You can see a few pictures here. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1e8-nlbFM9vXgA4ITGgZIEWnteqYpWpix

How badly is the hole stripped? Can a die be run through it to clean the threads up?
I can’t say for sure. The screw grips in the hole and tightens. It doesn’t start slipping until I try to torque it with the Fat Wrench. I’m sure you could fix it with a tap or maybe just use a screw with courser threads. I didn’t try because the other 5 screws on the front ring and the 6 in the back hold just fine.
I will take it. Sending PM for payment info.
