As of late I have been shooting a little trap at the local gun club w/ my Beretta AL 390 "Silver Mallard" with the old duffers make up the shotgun mafia and I'm really enjoying it .
Just for the record I am becoming an old duffer smile
My primary game guns are 20 gauge and I want to add a 12 gauge O/U for clay sports and some hunting .
There is some pretty impressive hardware out there at the club and I have had the opportunity to handle and shot many , it's been an education and the prices are eye opening (really enjoyed the two rounds of trap with the Krieghoff K80 and Perazzi MX 8 ) .
So far I have I really like the Caesar Guerrini Summit Sporting , Browning Cynergy CX and Beretta Silver Pigeon I Sporting all with 30 inch barrels , the Summit will be the top end of my budget .
Any personal experiences with any of these guns that you care to share is greatly appreciated .
Thank you in advance.

Not a bad one in those three. I’m a Beretta fan but have had a few Brownings over the years. I started out trap shooting with a Citori combo. Had a couple BT99s along the way.

Now I shoot mostly Berettas. My only Browning O/U is a Lightning 16. I’d shoot them all if you have the chance and pick the one that you feel shoots the best for you.
My gunsmith is selling a used Krieghoff K32 skeet gun with the factory 20 ga, 28 ga and .410 insert barrels for $4,800. Includes hard case, adjustable stock, etc. Don't know if it has choke tubes for trap and other games or not, but Briley could fix you up. PM if you are interested and I'll tell you where you can see pictures on Armslist. I haven't handled the gun and am not a shotgun expert, but I have known the seller for 25 years and trust him.
Have a Beretta Silver Pigeon for sale. 12 ga and in very good condition. It has been a winner at clays and in the field. Barrels were ported before I purchased it and it stays where it belongs after shot #1. Hard carry case included.
Just go get the K-80 and be done. Oh, and get a high grade too.
Get around 2-3 thousand rounds thru a variety of choices….and then you will probably be close to making a choice that “may” be right for you. However, if you stay with it, good chance you will change your mind.

The I like this, I have that, I wish I still had this….is even a bigger guess
Passport,
Thank you for the advice on the K80 ; $13K + is a little more than I think I can swing at the moment .

smile
DigitalDan,
If you can PM me more information on the Beretta Silver Pigeon ; it is one on my short list of candidates .
