Hi everyone.
My son's have joined a shotgun club and started shooting trap, skeet, and sporting clays.
I have dug my MEC's out and I need to replace some parts.
Anyone have a suggestion on where to find replacement parts for a couple of old machines?
An old sizemaster, and an old 650.
It has been 20 years or so since I reloaded shotgun shells, but it is time to get back into it.
Thanks
Dave
Go to Mec Outdoors web site. Order parts on-line.
lots of parts on Ebay as well, but as stated above, MEC can most likely help you out.
As a side note, I am finding if buying new shells vs reloading, new is not much more due to the high cost of everything now.
That was not the case years ago.
Also some good sites for parts & reloading supplies are Ballistic Products & Precision reloading.
Well nobody has said it but I will , day in day out MEC is still the brand that is the easiest to find parts for..mb
just call MEC direct, they have the best customer service on earth and the parts are cheap. these guys do it right

In spades!!
When I refurbed a couple of MECs, I found most of the parts on EBAY. I can find the seller's name if you are interested.
As mentioned multiple times, call MEC. And I agree with pullit, reloading shotshells isn't as "cheap" as it used to be. But also, having these guys load their own shells for this, great experience, teach them right!
From the first day I reloaded my first shell, I WAS NOT saving any money!
I spent MUCH more on components than I even did on factory ammo!
.....BUT.....!
I was able to shoot much more for the same dollar!
P.S. call MEC! GREAT FOLKS!
NOTE:
I find reloading very relaxing.
I also find filling a license or game bag using handloaded ammo VERY satisfying!
I'm about halfway ADHD. Reloading makes me slow down and take meticulous care with each step! 😉!
It also allows me to burn up a bunch of my OCD!
just a foot note.....ive been using 6 mec 600jr loaders since 1985, one in each ga.; and, numerous loaders were bought used....and ive never worn them out!
dave, you must have been one big time reloader!
I've ordered parts not only from Mec , but also from Ballistics Products
Thanks guys.
I ordered everything directly from MEC.
Just stuff that had been in storage for many years and parts damaged or missing.
The price of shipping sucks, but that is a problem everywhere.
Thanks
