Hi all,
This morning while goose hunting, I lost the foreend cap for my Franchi 48 AL. Everywhere I look online they are out of stock or discontinued. Does anyone know of any compatible models or have an extra one lying around I could buy.

This is what it looks like:

I had a Franchi 48 AL in 20 gauge for years, and used it for Grouse and Woodcock, great shotgun hey?

Mine was super light and man did it kick for a 20 gauge.

If you have not found one, I can call an outlet that sells Franchis in Canada and ask for you if you like, let me know?

Cheers ~
For some reason, I subconsciously check mine all the time. Now I will certainly do it more often!
Have you contacted Benelli USA directly?
Here is one for sale in New York for $16.41. It has an attachment for a sling.

Thanks for looking for me! I did not come across that one yesterday. Will this fit the 20ga? I am not sure, but can anyone confirm?

That was my next step if I could not find from an online retailer.
I'd try them because they had some barrels several years after the guns were discontinued.
Sorry about that when you mentioned Goose Hunting I assumed 12 gauge! Not sure if it will fit a 20 gauge.

I tried another place in Canada that sells Franchi Parts, but none was available and discontinued.

You may have to buy an old Franchi at a gun store or online to get that part.
I did some research, and the only thing that may help is the 48AL in 12ga shows the same part number as the 612 and 912. Maybe the 620 will be the same but my search couldn't come up with one of those either. Only thing I can suggest is try a machine shop/gunsmith. It may not look the same as factory when done, but at least you will have a usable gun.
