I was at a friends yesterday and he has a Beretta A 301 that was his father’s. Never fired.
I was surprised to see on GI that they don’t fetch too much $400-500 if you can find one. Drop in choke has 4 …. On the side of the choke. I haven’t checked out what it means - full, modified etc.
Were these shotguns not so popular back in the day? Not sure if i need another gun.

I had a 302 for a while. Mine was in 12 gauge, very nice shotguns in my opinion . I shot it for a while, ended up selling it in the classifieds on here back in the fall.

FYI,

4 notches in the choke indicates IC.

Those are pretty nice guns for the money!

Beretta 301/302/303 and the Browning B80 are all basically the same. Great soft shooting gas guns.
They are typically excellent shotguns.

301,302,303 are great guns as well as the 390 series.
